On Friday the 28th November St Claudine School went on 6 buses to Wellington. We went to Wellington because it was the 10th birthday of St Claudine's School. When we got there we sat down on the steps and they asked us questions about why are we here and everyone yelled because it's our 10th birthday. We got into our groups and then we had ice blocks. Group 1 went to the museum. As group 1 got to the museum we looked at the colossal squid and we looked at a video in 3D then we went to the earth quake house. When I got in I was scared as it started shaking my heart was pumping so hard. When it was time to go we went to our meeting. Then group 2 went to the museum. We went to get the paper for the scavenger hunt. They gave us a pencil and a piece of paper then they said go. We ran everywhere. When we finished our scavenger hunt we had our lunch. When we finished our lunch the people that didn't do the art started after their lunch. I was sketching trees (it was fun). When we were finished we played on the park for 2 hours then they blew the whistle and they put us into groups and went on to buses back to school. The bus driver that takes us home was waiting until we got dismissed from Miss Thomson to go on the bus. As I was on the bus I just relaxed on the bus because I was exhausted.

The school and I went on 6 buses. We went to a picnic and for morning tea we had ice blocks. It was yum. Then we went to Te papa. We saw Sea Shepard's ship who save whales. Then we went to Te papa museum. We saw a colossal squid. It was big. I saw a skeleton and thought it was a saber tooth tiger one. I told Miss Thomson and she said it was an Elephant seal. She took a picture of me and the seal. On the scavenger hunt we learnt about history .Then we went back to the picnic. We sang a song to St Claudine then we went back to school.

Yay! On Friday the 28th if November, the whole school got ready to go to Wellington. We were to stele rate the ten year of St Claudines. To celebrate we went to Te papa, Frankitts park, and we also did scavenger hunt. Everyone was very excited! On that day we took paper bags that were full of our food.
Soon it was time to go. It was 8:40. Then the buses arrived. There were 6 buses altogether." Wow a lot of buses!"
Soon we were in Wellington. We all were seated in our class groups. We all decided that each time we finished an activity we were going to come and seat there.
Then we got split into into three groups. My group was with Mrs Casely. After we were seated the ice blocks came."yay!" The ice blocks were cold, but at least it would give us a good refreshment. My ice black was finished in no time.
Soon we were all off. My group went to Te Papa. We saw a lot of interesting things.i found out that the Colossal squid was 12-14 metres long. Wow that's long! We were very lucky because we saw different birds and different sea creatures. I liked to learn about the history of nature. Our next stop was at the earthquake house. Soon it was our turn to get in. It was really sad when the earthquake happened there. Everything in people's houses got broken and everything crashed.
After we had spend our time in Te Papa, we went and did the scavenger hunt. I did it with Anna Marie. We found out a lot about NZ history. It was a bit tricky finding our way around. Luckily we finished in time. The bad part about the scavenger hunt was the fishy smell at the crab shack. It was horrible! At the end of the scavenger hunt I was very puffed out. The best part thing was that we got to eat soon.
After we got back to the meeting spot, the seniors and teachers started handing out the paper bags. Ms Jury was kind enough to give each child a drink. So that's exactly what she did. After we all ate I kind of felt full.
After lunch my group did an art activity. We all had to scotch something around the area we were in. Our group sketched the trees and the buildings in the background. It actually felt good just sketching in peace.
After everyone had finished we got to play in the Frankitts park. There was this huge slide. It was so popular that there was a huge line. At last I got. At turn on the slide. I nearly banged my leg on the slide because I didn't know the turn was coming.
After we had did all the activities we all waited until the buses came. We hoped on and went back to school. My friend and I were trying to sleep but the people behind us were annoying us. At last we got back to school.
I think that it was a great day. It was perfectly planned!

"Grab your hats and head outside ",said Miss Thomson. We lined up out side .We walked to the buses. The whole entire St Claudines school was going to Wellington for our 10 year anniversary.
B2's,D1's and A2's first destination was Te Papa.We walked To Te Papa from Fran kitts Park.We arrived in Te Papa where we strolled into Nature's park where all the animals were kept. Then Kaila and I walked up to this huge tank and inside was a huge Colossal squid.
In the scavenger hunt question number three had said find the building with the number five on it.We finally found the building but ther was a disgusting smell. It was like dead fish but I think it was a stench from the bar next door. But suddenly a boat came zooming past with a cute Dalmatian. When we went back by the building the horrible smell had come back "Eww yuck."
We made our way back to Fran kitts Park to do an art activity. My teacher Miss Thomson chose our location where we we going to be sketching. We were drawing the water front with all of the waves crashing against the rocks.Once we had finished our sketch we got to enjoy some free time on the playground. On Friday the 28th of November I had the best time of my life.
We came back to school. We arrived at school at 2:40, which meant I was on road patrol but the best thing was only five minutes on road patrol. YAY!

On Friday the 28th of November St Claudine Thevenet school had a day out in Wellington.we got to Wellington by bus, there are 6 bus to get the hole school to Wellington.we went to Wellington for the schools 10th birthday
Group 1 went to Te-papa first, group 2 went to do the scavenger hunt first, group 3 did art/play in the park first.i think that group 1 had the best routine because we got to look around Te-papa then we got to run around as we we're doing the scavenger hunt then we got to play.
At Te-papa I had to hold Amy's hand as we looked at the birds because Amy is scared of birds. As we were waiting to go in the earthquake house me and some other people we're jumping on a metal plate and if you're strong enough you would light up the screen, but me and Amy could not do it
Friday was one of the best days in my life.To me I think that every one hade fun

Saint Claudine Thevenet school went into Wellington City for our 10th anniversary. We went on 6 buses and we were divided into 3 groups. When we went off the buses we all sat down at Frank Kitts park and waited while the parent help and teachers sorted everything out.
After the big boring wait our teachers handed out ice-blocks ( lemonade ) .
Group 1 ( my group ) went to Te-papa first. My buddy Natalya-rose went with me to the colossal squid and the water was soooooo dirty and yellow. We went into a room and in a glass thing there was old compost and cans. After that all of my group went into the volcano room and we went in the shaky shaky earthquake house ( well most of us ).
It was scavenger hunt time and my buddy Natalya held the paper we ran along the waterfront and Natalya commented this is like the amazing race! As we were in the lead we nearly won and finished but we ran the wrong way but we knew were we were. At lunch we were singing while we were waiting for our food. We played at Frank Kitts park and before that we sketched Frank Kitts park well and the trees.
It was a super fun day who knew Wellington could be so interesting?

3 days ago, we went to Wellington to celebrate the school's 10th birthday. I only really remember the scavenger hunt so I'll just write about that. Logovii, Hailee and I were a team in the scavenger hunt. We did really good! Our team finished first and Mrs Casley told us that! A reason that I didn't like it is because, after all of our stressing running, we just wanted to play tag or hide and seek but, no! We had to draw! Not even that, we had to draw a set thing! We didn't get to choose! Even saying that, I overall liked the scavenger hunt the most! Even though I got stitches, leg pains and asthma problems, the scavenger hunt was my favourite. I have a lot more but, all I really remember is the scavenger hunt so, as always, See you, next time.

On the 28th
of November our school St Claudine went to Te Papa.
In the
morning when I woke up I was so excited to go. I got on the bus feeling so
happy and left. When I got to school I couldn’t wait I was asking Miss Thomson
“when are we going, when are we going” but I thought she was getting too
annoyed so stopped.
There were
six buses that were taking us all to Te Papa. On our way to Te Papa there was
lots of stuff that I saw. I was saying to Luta “Wow look how big that boat
is”. Than Luta said “I really want to go
on one of those”.
A few
minutes later we arrived to Te Papa “Yay I said we are finally here.
Our first
activity was going to Te Papa. We all learnt lots of history about wellington
and animals.
Our second
activity that we did was the scavenger hunt. We had to look for clues then
marched the clues on the paper.
Finally our
last activity was playing at Frank kitts park there huge slide. It looked scary
at first but when you go through it, you won’t think it’s scary any more.
I had a very
fun day and I can’t wait until the next trip.

On Friday
the 28th of November the whole school and I went out of Wainuiomata
into Wellington. Some of the children’s parents came to help for our schools
ten year anniversary Yay!! Just before we started this day we arrived at school
and got everything ready for our whole school trip. Nearly all the children
were so excited and so was I. when all the buses came, we were all ready to go
straight there so we could not waste any time, bombs away!
Time went by
and we finally got there and it was a mystery where we were going but then we
came to a place where it was notorious, windy and also sunny. First when we got
to Frank Kitts Park we sat down on the steps and listen to Miss Jury talk while
waiting for Ms Jury the principal and all the other teachers to come as well
with the ice blocks. While the watches were ticking to the top we were waiting
and finally we ate our ice blocks and went to our first activity may we thank
the Lord.
After eating
our ice blocks for morning tea we all went in our groups to a different
activity. Just if you’re wondering how many groups there was it would be three
groups. It was fun being with Mrs Casley because we went to Te Papa to discover
what she knows about the NZ history and many things. This was the end of the
first activity.
As we were
walking into the Museum of city and sea we became a pair as two and did a
scavenger hunt. The person in my group that I was paired up with was Claire. It
was a lot of fun but tiring. Just after we got to the end of the scavenger hunt
it was lunch time. When we got to Frank Kitts Park the other classes were
already there so we sang a song and it was happy birthday to celebrate St
Claudine’s TEN YEAR anniversary. Then we said a prayer for our lunch time. We
were waiting for our class to be called out then we finally got our lunches and
ate is all up until it was all finished. After eating all of our lunch, our
group went to our second to last activity which was sketching. It was fun
because we got to draw the trees and the
buildings and after the sketching we finally got to the playground to play.
And so it
was time to go back home to Wainuiomata on the buses. This is the trip that I
will always remember.
