Yesterday, Mrs Topp gave us instructions to make some art. She said that we would be drawing fireworks and buildings! Here are the instructions she gave us. First, we had to draw buildings with white chalk on black paper. Before you do that, wet the chalk. Do this whenever you are drawing these.Next step is optional. Draw windows with wet yellow chalk! Make sure your buildings are not all the same size. Now, the final step. Draw a lot of different types of fireworks! Draw them in the sky and flying away with all sorts of different colours, at your pleasure.Make sure, yet again, that your chalk is wet. After, your black paper should look bright and colourful! If you want to touch up on anything, you can and I hope you enjoy making them.

Yesterday night it was Guy Fawkes. I only realised when it was about 8:40. They were making a huge bomb explosion, and the first one gave me a fright! BOOM! BAM! KABOOSH!
I Couldn't go but I did look out the window and stared at all the bold colours firing out. My eyes were looking in so many directions. Forwards, sideways and even backwards.
Soon we saw our neighbours doing sparklers, so they said that we could come and join. I was pretending to be a cowgirl and saying "Yipee yiy hoo!" It was really fun and pizaz!
Soon the fire works were making louder explosions, and they were looking really cool! I was beaming into the fire works and wishing that I could be one darting through the sky.
Soon I had to go to sleep. So that's what I did for this year's Guy Fawkes.I hope that you had fun too!

Last night  in my backyard  my dad and I set off fireworks . People were excited and amazed at the colour of the fireworks . Some people were scared  because  of how loud the fireworks were . My sister, mum and brother  were watching the fire works . In the backyard. One big fire work went out of control and burnt my toe but my dad covered me we told jokes while we were watching . Then we lit the big fireworks. It went boom clash clash  then we lit sparklers up then they all went out after I had to help clean  the mess in the backyard up. Then we came inside and went to bed.

On the 5th of November we had to do firework art with our Wednesday teacher Mrs.Topp. It was called chalk art. Mrs.Topp had a little container of water for each table. With the containers of water we had to dip the chalk into it and then draw on our very black paper. For our buildings we had to use white chalk and with yellow chalk we drew windows. With lots of different colours we went crazy and drew fireworks everywhere coming out of windows, in the black skies , and well just everywhere!

Mrs Topp set us up with a superdooper fireworks art activity . First we have to get a black piece of card , dip a white piece of white chalk into a small container of water and do the outlines for the buildings . Next fill in the buildings with a wet yellow chalk for windows Finally for the fun part of the art , grab 3 colours and pick 1 . Remember to always keep the chalk wet . Drag your chalk from inside to outside and mix different colours together . Do as many flicks as you want . Keep going until you are satisfied . Let the art dry for 2 - 5 minutes then hang up where ever you like and don't forget to frame it .

On the 5th of November our class B2 had Mrs Topp for the day. After lunch Mrs Topp said to the class “let’s all do chalk art”. Chalk art is art you do with chalk , black paper, and water. The first thing we had to draw was the buildings. We had to draw the buildings with white chalk .To make the chalk stay on the black paper you had to get a little container filled up with water, then just dip your white chalk into the water. When you have finished, you draw on the black paper. After doing that and you’ve seen it, it turns out pretty awesome. After doing that you start working on your fireworks with lots of different colours, then when you’ve finished it looks very nice.

Yesterday Mrs Topp gave us an art project . What we had to go was to get a black piece of paper , Then we get some chalk and some. The steps are.....
1.Get your chalk and half way dip it in the water (make sure the chalk colour is white)
2. Then with the white chalk make buildings, Also make white windows on the buildings, Then colour in the windows yellow.
3.Get any colour chalk and make fireworks, but remember to wet the chalk before you put it onto paper.
4.Once you've done your art work put it somewhere to dry if you have a spray, spray it so it won't come off and so the chalk won't spill.
CHALK ART IS SO MUCH.......YOU SHOULD TRY IT SOME DAY : )

On Wednesday the 5th of November Mrs Topp came into our classroom and helped us create a masterpiece which is the art of making fireworks with chalk. Just as we went off to make this masterpiece we did not know what to do so Mrs Topp taught us, first and the instructions came to mind.
First you will need a pencil, chalks, black paper and water. You start off with drawing rectangle shapes and windows on a black paper with a pencil. Secondly you get a white coloured chalk and dip it into water and trace over the rectangle houses and windows.
Thirdly you colour in the windows in yellow with the chalk and dip it into water as well. Finally you add fireworks to your masterpiece and do the same thing with the chalk and add any colours that you want to do the fireworks in. There you go, your masterpiece is done, ready to be hung up on the wall.
